I have a custom object where we are holding the Forecast, Budget and Revenue by account (on the same record)
We then have another record (Same Object) for previous years.
How do report on the trends month by month, year to year etc.
i am also open to potnetial changes on how this is being input into salesforce if this option doesnt work

Just to confirm, are you trying to report on these records as the data is entered, or do you also need to include other data (ex: pipeline, etc.)?
