Seems like there is some sort of bug that prevents fields from some objects such as Order Products from showing up in custom report types. As per advice from this post https://success.salesforce.com/answers?id=90630000000Cr1o, I tried using a standard report type (Orders with Products) and did gain access to the Order Product fields.
