I need help please on one of the buttons in my custom object. I have a "Cancel Request" that enables itself when the cancellation reason field is populated. The issue is that it currently validates two fields before it cancels. The field being asked is meant only for executing a record, but when cancelling a record those fields shouldn't be checked anymore. I also noticed that Cancel Request button works in some record types, but not to this one record type I am currently having issue on.
How do I check dependencies of my cancel request button?
Will it also help to note that in my sandbox, everything works perfectly. I can do cancel even using the questioned record type in Prod. I know I should just mirror whatever is in Sandbox, but everything looks the same so far. I have no idea where else to check.
Could anyone please help me troubleshoot further?

There are two reasons why your Request does not work in production but works in Sandbox
The first reason is that it may be not deployed in production successfully.
The second reason is if you installed a third party app for this work then sometimes it happens that the dealer's license restrictions are just enforced for production, not for the sandbox.
