Email to Salesforce, only the to recipient to have activity logged, not cc recipients

I only want the main TO recipients to have the email recorded as an activity in Salesforce, and not the CC or BCC recipients.  Is this possible?  Any workaround you can think of?

    Who are the CC's? Users? Contacts?

     

    One workaround would be to make sure these email addresses do not exist in Salesforce. I understand this is not always practical.
