Report- Total Amount Proprosed for Month

how do I can create a report that displays the total amount proposed for the month? Since the opportunity stage is constantly changing how do you get an accurate report?

    Filter based on Close data within This month and add a fileter on close field

     

     

    Closed equals "False"

     

     

    This should give you all opportunity those are open and going to close withing this month.
