We are a nonprofit social services agency who serve youth in state custody. We have a program that serves youth who have aged out of foster care. These youth live in apartments that are supervised by case workers. We are building a Community with Communities where the youth can interact with their case workers and see goals and tasks assigned to them. As well, we'll have a knowledge base of resources such as how to get your driver's license, etc.
I am wondering about how to restrict access so a youth can only see his/her information. I updated Sharing Rules to try to accomplish this:
I want individuals within the community to only see their Contact record and only be able to see Task and Goal records assigned to them (marked by a lookup field).
How can I accomplish this?
Also, I'd like to create a page that links to Contacts and shows the youth's Contact record. What parameter can I use to direct the youth to his/her Contact record specifically? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Blair,
Do the Community User profiles have at least read access to contact object?
Is OWD for Contact object set as Private?
As for the page, if their contact lookup is referenced on another record they can click to view. You can also add the Contacts tab to the Community tab.
