Why cant I send email with .zip attachment.

I tried to send an email with .zip attachment but no one seems to receive it. I sent a test email to my personal email but it didnt get through me & not in the junk/spam mail either. Then I tried removing the zip file to check if it was the problem & sent another test email it went through. Can someone help me on this? We were able to send emails with zip attachments before and late last year it's not working anymore.

    Usually email server will unzip that email and checking if any harm files, including executable files.

     

    Try to zip a txt file and sent it to your yahoo or gmail, and see how it goes.

     

    Check email log in Salesforce from Setup | Logs | Email Log Files for outbound email from salesforce.
