There are multiple ways to enter opportunity in SFDC:
1. Navigate to the opportunity tab and then use 'New' button.
2. Navigate to the Account tab, select the account and then use the 'New' button.
3. Navigate to the Contact tab, select the contact and then use the 'New' button.
4. You can load opportunity data using data loader.
