Salesforce for Outlook: Unexpected error: Param is empty

A user is getting is getting this error when she uses Salesforce for Outlook:

An unexpected error occurred. Review the appropriate log for details.

Param is empty.

Parameter name: userName.

She is using Outlook 2016 (32-bit) on Windows 10.

I welcome any ideas.

David - Never seen such error in my org. Did the user get the error when syncing data?

Or just using SFO? Is the user profile assigned to the outlook configuration?

I would suggest to log a case with Salesforce Support.
