Version? Do you mean Edition or Release?
You can find out your edition by looking in the header bar of your browser. When logged into Salesforce it should say something similar to: "salesforce.com - Enterprise Edition - Mozilla Firefox.
If you mean release, then the upper left corner of Salesforce tells this. Right now you should see a palm tree with a 12 in front of it. That means you have the Summer 12 release. Winter 13 is the next one.
