I wanted to know how I can add the contact UID to a page layout?
We are working on a project where we are syncing data with another data source. We plan to import data from one place into SF.com on a monthly basis (information updates such as contact information) but to help us from creating duplicates I will have the admin add the SF.com Contact UID to the other database as she gets new contacts in her database.
Long story short - is there a way to see the Contact UID on the Contact Page Layout. Thank you!

ew. This is potentially awful since I've already sent over 100 (pulled from a report) to my R&D team. So really that means my UIDs are wrong, and they've just added 100 wrong ones to their database.
Does your cold brain know why Salesforce only allows the user to pull the 15? Ugh.
I will try your formula.
