I have a Variable in my Flow that I'm mapping in Process Builder to a custom "Other" field TEXT(40) field.
- In my flow I have the Record Create [Custom Field Name] = [Variable]
- Variable Data Type = Text
- Variable Input/Output Type = Input and Output
- In my process builder, when I pull [Variable], I'm using Data Type FIELD REFERENCE and just pulling the Custom Field in the lookup.
I keep getting this error: This error occurred when the flow tried to create records: INVALID_OR_NULL_FOR_RESTRICTED_PICKLIST: bad value for restricted picklist field: Other.
I know this is the field throwing the error because when I completing remove it from the Create Record step in my FLOW, everything goes through perfectly with no errors.... help!

Seems like you are trying to insert value which is not the active value for the respective picklist field. If you have have below option selected , you can insert only active values in picklist field.
