Having trouble with a Validation Rule under Opportunity. "Lost To" field to be required when the Stage is changed to Closed Lost OR Dead Opportunity.

I would write it like this
AND(
ISBLANK(Lost_To__c),
CASE(StageName,
'Closed Lost',1,
'Dead Opportunity',1,
0 ) = 1
)
actually I wouldn't... because I wouldn't touch a Multi-Picklist with a 10 foot pole
