Salesforce Keyboard Shortcut not working

I'm in a lightning console.  Creating or editing a new task using the standard "Log a Call" action.  I don't seem to be able to use the shortcut CMD+S (mac) to save it.  anyway else getting the same?  know why?  or know a workaround?
