Hello!

I have a field on a form (through Formstack) with possibility for multiple selections. I am passing those values through a Pardot Form Handler into a custom Pardot Prospect field, to a custom Salesforce Contact multi-picklist field. However, when I submit a test form, I receive plain-text values in the Pardot Prospect field, not picklist values.

Instead of:

- Option A

- Option B

I get "OptionAOptionB" as text. In the Formstack form settings, when I try to link the Pardot Form Handler to the Formstack form, I can only select "Value" (options are Value or Field); all other fields are passed through the "Field" option, but if I try "Field" instead of "Value", Pardot does not receive any value for it (I know that because the field is required in Pardot, so the form errors out; when I make the field not required, the form submits and no data is passed into the Pardot field from the Formstack field).

Any insights anybody? I think this if a Formstack problem but curious if anybody else has had the issue. Salesforce / Pardot help docs aren't very useful in this case.

Hi @Cole McIntyre, it is still a problem. We are using the Pardot multi-selection but our current bottleneck is getting the API call logs from Formstack to see what data is being sent to Pardot. I can make Formstack communicate to Salesforce correctly (then sync to Pardot), but can't make the reverse of Formstack to Pardot then sync to Salesforce work. The Pardot help desk said Formstack needs to pass data in a particular format to be accepted by Pardot, but what is super strange is that this integration was working, then stopped working. Don't know why it or what even changed.
