Maybe you can point me in the right direction. We are looking for a way to setup tasks templates where each task is dependent on a previous task. I saw an Action Plan app in the exchange store. Is that our only option? Does SF not have this functionality without an app?
We have a custom object created for projects and want to use tasks assigned to queues but need them to be templates and dependent tasks.

hi @John Williams Salesforce does not have standard functionality for task dependency. Action Plans do, however at the moment you still can't assign action plan tasks to Queues... so in your case, I wouldn't install the Action Plan app until they allow those tasks to be assigned to Queues. It is an un-managed package though, so if you have a developer that can look at the code that may be an option for you.
