I am building a Lightning dashboard with about 10 components. I would like to add a filter so that users can select the specific record they would want the data on the dashboard to display.
Has anyone found a way to either filter on record name or built a custom filter?

This is the same approach we'd suggest for Account Based Marketing, where Target Account (a checkbox on Account) is used. We can use a Dashboard Filter on the Target Account field to zero in on Pipeline or other sales Opp data related to Targets or those not targeted.
