We just switched our users to Lightning and one of the bigger drawbacks is the inability to search by letter in list views. I know there is an idea out there (https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A000000E40yQAC). Is there any update on when this functionality will be available in Lightning?

@Janet Werner As I reviewed the idea you linked to, I notice that @Nicholas Kilduffprovided a possible work around - "create custom list views for common (or all) alpha characters. For example, create a new List View with a "Starts With" filter List view for the letter 'A', 'B', 'C', etc., and make it available to all users (if preferred). It's a cumbersome work around, I'll admit, but it gets the job done for now and is easily reversable when Alpha Shortcuts is eventually released."
