Hello everyone,

We are starting our transition into lightning and have a few questions that we have been looking for that we could not find direct answers to. Could anyone answer these?

1. Is lightning going to be enforced at some point where classic is no longer available? If so, when is that deadline, and do existing classic clients have to upgrade as well and transition into lightning?

2. If we have to upgrade our clients into lightning, is there a guide that would walk us through on how to upgrade them without having to go into each of their orgs and making all the adjustments individually, especially the redundant ones?

3. I am looking for a link or trail head to direct me on customizing options for lightning pages and components and those features, is there a good resource for this? I would go into Setup>Custom Code>Lightning Components>Lightning Components and it is empty with no capability of creating new from there. I hear we can do a lot with them, yet I haven't seen anything on creating them or utilization.
