#Lightning Lounge - If my profile is set to that of System Administrator and has the Lightning Experience User option currently selected, but I am not seeing the option to switch to lightning at the top as Marco demonstrated, what would be a potential cause of this?

Marie, it sounds like Lightning Experience isn't enabled for your org yet. The user perm only applies when Lightning Experience is turned on.
You can turn it on for your org ahead of the critical update from the Transition Assistant. Go to the Roll Out phase, expand the Launch Lightning Experience stage, and turn on the toggle button.
