Lightning friends - I need help.

We have a home page with a number of dashboard components. We would like these to auto refresh, I'm wondering if:

• I set the dashboards behind these components to auto refresh these components will refresh when that does
• Is there anyway to refresh these and make these real time each time a user navigates to their home tab?
• Any other ideas?
