In the cert prep webinar, they talked about using manual sharing when you have non-standard sharing requirements (there aren't any rules that sharing can be standardized around and each record is unique). How do we do this in lightning?

For the Lightning Experience you have to add the Manual Sharing button as a Lightning Component you get from the AppExchange. Here is the link and a short movie that discusses the steps https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxlistingdetail?listingId=a0N3A00000EFp0ZUAT
