I am migrating a technical support team from a homegrown CRM to SF. They have the ability to create custom banners on a parent account that is pushed to all the children accounts. Banners can have messages like "Do not reset the password for any site. Refer the site contact to John Doe." See attached.
Any options to have something display like a banner? This has to be a custom message on each account.
Are the messages dated, so they have additional metadata? If not, you could be able to just use a field on the parent account.
When the field is populated (component visibility filter), then the message would be displayed?
Definefly less robust than joseph's solution, but if you just need to track static text then maybe a single field could be enough?
