Team, I know that notes & ATTACHMENTS may seem like 1999, a Y2K problem... but I have a user getting an error of Insufficient Privileges on an Attachment that he has always been able to view. The Object looks good, profile is fine, sharing is wide open, so no OWD problems in play here. It may have crept in right after the Winter 2019 releases, but can't diagnose/guarantee that. We do NOT use Chatter unfortunately, sad. Very sad, many tears. In our system, we are somewhat there to getting away from n&A to FILES, but not there yet. What do you think?

Attachment permission is driven based on the parent record, unless the attachment is marked private (which would make it private to the person who created it). Can the user still access the parent record? If so, do you have a user who can access the attachment check if the attachment is made private?
