Anyone know if the File type field is supported in Lightning (LEX) with with Lightning knowledge enabled? It appears to be editable in classic but not LEX. There is nothing in the documentation about limitations / support (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=knowledge_lightning_limitations.htm&type=5).
If not supported, is there a target release for this functionality? Since the Knowledge Files related list is also not supported for Community, I'm trying to figure out options for users to stay in Lightning and share attachments for knowledge articles with users in a customer community. The other key requirement for this solution is to not to have to switch between classic and lightning. #Lightning Knowledge

In Lightning Knowledge File Fields will not work, It is known Limitation.Whenever converting articles these files will be moved to Files related list(If you use Salesforce tool). You can try to create custom component for community which will show Corresponding files.
