Question about Lightning Console Apps and New button override.  We have the New button on a custom object overridden with button with launches a VisualForce page.  The button works fine in Lightning and Classic but on a Lightning Console App, the New button simply launches the regular page layout in edit mode.  That won't work for us as we need a custom editor.

Anyone know a way to get it to work?

We found a work around using a Custom Bottom on List Views but the problem with that is you don't get it until you select a List View.  If you are on the Recently-Viewed view, you get the regular New button which in Lightning Console launches the page layout edit mode.
