Please vote for this idea.
Currently, all of the Opportunity Closed Stages (Sold, Lost, DTQ) do not appear on the Path via the UI so we are unable to show the required fields per Closed Stage.
Salesforce lumps these stages all under Closed and then the user hits the validation errors when trying to mark the stage as Sold, Lost or DTQ. This is a huge bummer!

@Jamie, I wish I knew. We likely won’t be able to move forward with Path unless won and lost is split.
