#JS_Alternatives We use URL hacks to create records, pre-populating 10 to 12 fields at times, and with sometimes a dozen fields that are required on a new record. Are they going to open it up more for action buttons to allow this?
I seems there is a small limit as to how many fields to be displayed or pre-populateded.

You can use quick actions to do this if the newly created record is a child record of the record you are on. Otherwise use Lightning Data Service to create a record using values from the record(s) you are on.
