Is Visualforce dashboard component in the roadmap for Lightning?

The goal is to get a (rich) text component onto a Lightning Dashboard to help guide users (teachers) on what to look for in the data. They are in a community so we can use a rich text field on the page layout there but was looking for a way for it to live ON the DB. Rich text Lightning components available on dashboards would be even better :-D
