Hello all, I want to learn the best practices in contacts management & cleanup. Can you share your experiences and provide some guidance to manage contacts better?

For instance, how do you define active/inactive contacts or do you have any systematic hierarchy between your contacts in an account? If so, how did you do it? I'm really open to learn more than those questions on contacts management and cleanup. Thanks!
