I've created a landing page with just a Smart Capture form; the form's submit options include a redirect to another Cloud Page. When I test the page/form on its own, the record is inserted and the redirect occurs. When the page/form is embedded via <iframe> in a page on my web site, the insert occurs but the redirect does not.
