workflow to update a lookup field from a text field

I am trying to update a lookup field on an object with a formuala field (text). 

 

Lookup field = Asset 

 

Formula field (text) = Asset_1__c 

 

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Glen,

     

    I just tried building the Flow using the standard Asset Lookup field in my org and tested. Sharing screenshots and details:

     

    1. Use same conditions as below under Start element:

    2. Replace Asset_Name__c with Asset_1__c
