Hi there,

We have Professional Edition, and recently one of my standard users messaged me this issue:

"Salesforce won't let me add an address to one of my records, it says "no permission". It does this constantly when I'm out of town, at first it used to send a text code to enter as verification now it just says "no", however I can post and add notes however. The last time it asked to verify the ISO device, no text came but it allows me to login but won't let me make detail changes to accounts, ie addresses, however if I am in my home network it allows it."

We've established this only happens on the road and not when he's connected to his home internet. I signed into his account from my comp at work and was able to change this account details fine (as if I were him) so it does look to be something to do with his connection/access from out and about.

I suspect he's using his phone as well for this, or tablet.

    Hi Danielle,

Is your user using Salesforce 1? An error of "No Permission" doesn't really tell us anything and isn't the full error message if it is a standard Salesforce error.  See if you can get the full error message and if possible a screenshot.

Permissions shouldn't change if someone is logging in on the road.
