In the contacts page, I have a custom field called "partner type" that is a picklist, and one of the options is "monthly".

 

I am trying to run a report that has all of our monthly partners on it.

 

I made a custom report for contacts&organizations, and set one filter: "Partner Type equals Monthly".

 

For the time frame at the top, I have "Created Date" set to "All Time".

 

That's it. Yet when I run the report, it brings back only 6 contacts instead of a hundred or so. Is there anything I could have missed to throw it off like that?

    A screenshot of report builder would help a lot here-- 

     

    After not hitting "run report" the other trick is not changing the "My contacts" that comes up as default to "All Contacts" in the header of the report builder.  Double check to make sure you've  not limited things to just the ones you own.
