Create a Profile in API Governance
Now that you’ve published the API specifications, it’s time to set up an API Governance profile to apply rulesets to the APIs you published and identified in the previous unit.
- Go to https://anypoint.mulesoft.com/governance/ in the Anypoint Platform account that you created in the first unit, and log in if you aren’t already logged in.
- Click Governance Console.
- Click New Profile.
- Follow the UI guidance to set the following; click Next after each step:
- Select rulesets:
- Anypoint Best Practices
- Authentication Security Best Practices
- Anypoint Best Practices
- Define filter criteria:
- For API Types, select REST API.
- For Tags, select flight-apis and then click Apply.
- For API Types, select REST API.
- Set notifications:
- Click the toggle to pause notifications in the Nonconformance notification section, because we didn’t set up any email contacts in Anypoint Platform.
- Click the toggle to pause notifications in the Nonconformance notification section, because we didn’t set up any email contacts in Anypoint Platform.
- Specify general information:
- For Profile Name, enter
Flight API Best Practices.
- For Profile Name, enter
- Select rulesets:
- Review:
- Verify the information for each step.
- Edit any step you need to correct.
- Click Save as active.
- Verify the information for each step.
Click Verify Step to earn 100 points to go to the next step in the project where you verify the API conformance status.
