Hi guys. I’m new to salesforce. I started learning it in iPad. After installing package I got this message in Installed package tab

‘We can't display this page because your browser blocks cross-domain cookies, but you can view this page in Salesforce Classic. Click here to open this page in Salesforce classic.’

I tried disabling the block all cookies feature in privacy and security tab. Still no use.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Shaukat,

This seems to be a Salesforce issue as they have enabled Prevent Cross-Site Tracking privacy setting to protect user's privacy.

As a workaround, you can follow the steps mentioned on below link,

    https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000353584&type=1&mode=1

Hope this helps! Mark it as Best Answer if it helps in resolution.

    Regards,

    Amey

Hi @Tim Dubois ,

Our users are only using iPad with the Lightning Experience on iPad .

All works fine except strange behavior while using Salesforce Maps.

Menu items are not always showing correctly. (see attachment)

If I understood well, Salesforce maps is using an iFrame Visualforce page and this is currently not supported on the Lightning Experience on iPad. Correct? Is there any chance these issues might be solved in the future?

Thanks for your help.

Kind Regards,

Stijn

@Tim Dubois  We are having an issue with ipad pro 12.9 and OS 13.5.1, the user is redirected to classic. It seems like Safari is not defaulting the Desktop  Site as clicking the Share Button from the top right corner, then scroll to the right to find additional sharing options.

Click “Request Desktop Site” for Safari to refresh the Salesforce page to display Lightning fixes the problem. Any help is appreciated.

@Tim Dubois You are correct. Which of course is not surprising. My Safari setting for "Request Desktop Site" was toggled off. Toggling to the On position resolved this. Thanks for reaching out! Much appreciated.

Hi guys. We have an iPad app built with Salesforce mobile sdk on iPad but I would like to open a web view with lwc in one of the tabs. We edited web view cookies and it works sometimes but is there an official way to log into Salesforce web from Salesforce mobile app? Also it’s community portal users if that makes a difference.

Hi.  There seems to be a gap in the iOS and iPadOS offering.  The update that was completed for the Salesforce Mobile App to force users into the application given certain URLs types does not always play well with the LEX for iPad Experience.  Randomly we will get thrown from the iPad experience to the mobile app.  Or if we have another application try to launch the URL, it goes to the mobile app instead of staying in Safari.

Hello, following up on 2 previous questions:

1) Is there a time when the Salesforce Mobile App with NOT be available on iPad?

2) For Field Service Lightning ... there is a "open in salesforce" button... will that be moved to open Safari instead of the App?

Hello,

Has there been any additional information on whether:

1) The Salesforce App will still be supported on iPads?

2) Impact to using Field Service Lightning and linking to Salesforce (app or browser)?

Opening new wind-up ows.

Both the desktop and iPad version of Safari constantly open new windows when I navigate Setup in Salesforce. In many cases it also makes the new tab unfunctional. Is there a way to turn off this behavior?

Example: I log into SF and go to Setup >Users>Users.. I get a warning that my popup blocker is keeping it from opening. I tell it to open and the user list is opened in a new tab. Sometimes when this happens (workflows) it renders the links disabled.

Any help is appreciated. This doesn't happen when using chrome on the desktop or iPad.
