Has anyone every noticed or utilized the "standard" Cases List View "Cases Owned and Shared with Me"? I just recently noticed it and was told by Salesforce Support this is a Standard List View and it cannot be removed or altered.

    Hey Gail,

Yeah, that one's easy to miss since it doesn't show up unless you're specifically looking for it — it's one of the platform-delivered Standard List Views (same category as "My Cases," "Recently Viewed," etc.), which is why Support told you it can't be edited or removed. Standard List Views are owned by Salesforce itself, not by your org, so you don't get the usual Edit/Delete options non-admins or even admins get on custom ones.

What it does: it typically returns cases where you're either the direct Case Owner OR you have access via Case Team membership, manual sharing, or a sharing rule — basically the union of "owned by me" + "shared with me" rather than just ownership like the classic "My Cases" view does.

Since you can't touch the standard one, if you want similar functionality with more control (custom filters, specific fields, sorting), the usual move is to just build your own custom list view alongside it — Salesforce will happily let both coexist, and your custom one can be edited/cloned/deleted freely since it's yours. Most admins do exactly that rather than fighting with the platform-delivered ones.

Was there something specific about its behavior you were trying to fix, or just flagging that it exists?
