I am struggling with how to easily display changes in these particular fields on our case record. I enabled field history tracking for the following fields:
Goal 1, Goal 2, Goal 3. Case managers explained that these SMART goals change during the time they have with each client. They want some way to view changes in those fields, aka, see some way to view old goals while having a place to enter new goals.
I've tried using a screen flow, but it's a bit too advanced for me. I've also created a report, but did not realize I can only display charts on a record.
Any ideas are appreciated! Thank you!
Goal child object definitely the way to go.
It will allow you to "complete" goals and keep that history without having to overwrite them. You can always make rules so that someone can have a maximum of three goals "active" at a time if you need. It will also let you leave reasons for ending a goal (e.g. was the goal achieved, or have priorities changed?)
