The issue I run into from time to time is I need to make a change to a published data source. So I download the data source, open in Tableau Desktop, edit Data Source, make changes, and since it is an extract the extract needs to be modified as well so the underlying data is also changed but I cannot get Tableau Prep to create a new extract. I've tried saving as a different name, adding/removing filters, switching between Live and Extract and none of those are working to prompt a new extract be generated.

Hi, you may clic on the Data Menu, and then clic on refresh all extracts.
