In Tableau Server, there is a handy readonly database called 'workgroup', where you can find, among much else, information pertaining to data source scheduled refresh intervals and their next scheduled run ( public.schedules.run_next_at and public.schedules.schedule_type).

We have recently migrated to Tableau Cloud, where this workgroup database is replaced by a set of Admin Insights data sources. However, we have not (yet) been able to locate fields with this information within any of those data sources.

Therefore, there does not appear to be any way to report on the information found in the Tableau Cloud Tasks section (site/sitename/tasks/extractRefreshes), which is a huge step down from the functionality in Tableau Server.

Has someone else run into this and found a workaround? Or is this information somewhere really obvious we've overlooked?

Screenshot below shows the Tasks information that we need to be able to report on. How to report on the extract refresh schedule intervals information in the Tasks section of Tableau Cloud? Thanks

    Hi Dana,

I'd recommend talking with your local Tableau rep. One of the sacrifices of moving your server operations outside of your environment is you do lose things like this - just preparing you for the possibility that there might not be a satisfactory answer at the end of this process.
