How to connect tableau desktop with AWS s3 bucket

Question

We have flat files stored in s3 bucket which we want to use in Tableau. Need to understand the best approach. As server we have Tableau cloud. Any relevant link (latest) would be appreciated.

Although this issue may already be resolved, may this information reach someone who needs it.   Tableau has recently released an Amazon S3 connector, enabling you to directly use flat files stored in AWS S3 buckets with Tableau Desktop.
