I have created a cross tab in a dashboard where regional level filters are already applied, after clicking record from this crosstab, it open up in a new dashboard with full better view.
This doesn't behave same in tableau server.
I tried server side rendering by updating in URL like
url?=0
url?:render=true
url?:render=false
all these do help in opening up the tab in another dashboard , but the issue is that the regional filters are no more applicable here.
It show data from all regions.
How to fix it up?

I'm assuming you are using a dashboard/sheet action to open the new dashboard within the same workbook, if that is not the case please let me know.
Can you check to make sure the option "Show Sheets as Tabs" is enabled for the workbook published on the server? Here is a quick set of instructions in case you are unfamiliar with that setting
