So I am currently building an image table for a project and I originally used the shapes mark type and put the images in the Shapes folder to display the images, however the client does not want to manually change the images and would prefer using URLs that is stored in their database to make the solution more dynamic. Unfortunately using a web page object is not an option as multiple images need to be displayed at the same time with their respective metrics. If anyone could assist I would gladly appreciate it.

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately an image object won't cater for the requirement as the URL image is being pulled in as a dimension from the data source which is why I would need it in the worksheet and not as a dashboard object. I have attached a screenshot below of my worksheet that is using shapes to create the image table. I want to use a URL dimension that is in my data source and replace the shapes with images that is from a URL but within the tableau worksheet. Is this possible or would I have to use an Extension?
