Hi all,

We are having a competition.  The contestants have a weekly task that they complete over a 4 week period.  The project will be judged at the end of 4 weeks by a panel of three judges.  During the time that the projects are being completed, we are simply checking their progress with a "yes or no".

I am trying to make a progress chart that has a bit of flair to it like this:

How to Make this Chart with no measures

The data set does not contain a measure.  I have tried a few ways to make a calculated field to be able to put it on the shapes mark but so far no luck.

Appreciate your help in advance!

This will be difficult with how your data is structured currently. I'd suggest pivoting the weeks (here's how: 3 Ways to Pivot Data for Tableau - The Flerlage Twins: Analytics, Data Visualization, and Tableau ). That will give you this:

This will be difficult with how your data is structured currently.

Then you can build your base chart like this:

Then change the mark type to "Shape" and drag Pivot Field Values to shape card:

And, finally, change the shapes for each value:

And, for some extra flair, you can also put Pivot Field Values on color.
