Morning all!
I have a dashboard and the source of the data that feeds that dashboard is a Oracle DB. The other day, the data refresh ended up with many less rows than normal. What caused this situation was an internal data routine to the Oracle DB was corrupt. So rather than having 10,000 rows, I ended up with less than 100.
My question is this - can a person set up some sort of alert to notify myself when a dataset contains less than the "normal" amount of rows?

For sure. You can publish the workbook with the extra tab. If you do not want the end-user to see it, just publish a completely separate workbook in a private section. I know I have a private project in our Tableau Server that primarily contains views that help me monitor data quality. I don't use alerts on them personally as I already have access to all of our ETL flows which generate error alerts themselves.
