New Nonprofit Cloud Editions are Available Today!

Nonprofits have told us the same thing for years: buying Salesforce shouldn't require stitching together many different SKUs just to get the capabilities you actually need. The way organizations are buying technology in the age of AI has changed and today, we're introducing new Nonprofit editions to reflect that change.

These new editions include Core, Advanced and Max. They will replace Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Editions, and every one bundles  Slack (+ Slackbot),  Tableau Next, :premier-success: Premier Success, enterprise security, and Agentforce natively. No more piecing together add-ons.

New Pricing is below

  • EE → Nonprofit Core - $70 PUPM
  • UE → Nonprofit Advanced - $125 PUPM
  • Nonprofit A1E → Nonprofit Max — $285 PUPM
  • CRM A1E → CRM Max — $345 PUPM

  • Reduce complexity for buyers and sellers. It's part of a company-wide effort to cut down SKU count and selling complexity. Nonprofits previously needed several SKUs stitched together to get capabilities that now come standard in one edition.
  • Nonprofit-specific shifts. For Nonprofit, this also brings a new selling motion for grantmaking, as this solution will be available through the Max Editions. The Power of Us program will now provide 10 free licenses of Core edition. Premier Success will be activated when the nonprofit makes its first paid purchase (i.e., its 11th license).

This is only a good (business) idea and convenient IF all your clients are using all these products. Isn't that far from the case? What percentage of clients are bundling all these products? What percentage are not using all these products that they are now going to be opted in to pay for?  Salesforce's strength is in its MODULAR approach. The fact that organizations get to assemble and pay for only what they need out of multiple options is a FEATURE and BENEFIT of going the Salesforce route.  Any effort to streamline their route to purchasing all of the products Salesforce desires them to buy is NOT in the majority of your client's best interest. And it does not simplify buying for all clients; even those that want all these products (the minority) should diligently assess their needs and determine exactly which SF products they require (and in what amount) PRIOR to purchasing anything.  Combining skus is a minor (if any?) benefit to the client whereas for Salesforce the company this is a major benefit ($).
