I have map with 2 layers, one for supplier at the top and for country . the issue is when user selects land in the dashboard everythings got filtered as desired. I use calculation that supplier point are visible only in case a land or other fileds from other sheets get selected. In the Dashboard the suppliers for the selected country are hidden cause the Tableau selection highlighting.
you can see that if user select something on other sheet the daufalt map will get filtered and suppliers (blue icons) are visible.
my cocnlusion is the highlighting feature doesn't allow me to see the supplier points when map is clicked. on the particular map sheet everything is visible.
is there any option?

I tried with Superstore and add cities in US with Lat and LNG to create make point, is basically the same setup I have in my produktion workbook. click Tennsco and you will get states and cities visible cause Manufacturer parameter gets populated. de-click bar chart and you see states only. If you select California bar chart gets filtered then click Tennsco and cities should appear in California as well but California is selected so this is Tableau's behavior. go to map sheet that cities in California are visible but the highlighted California state cover the cities.
