I'm trying to add a related list of Branch Units to the Locations page and it is not one of the options in the dropdown
Hi Jose - it is the direction of the relationship. In FSC's Branch Management model, Location is a lookup FIELD on the Branch Unit (you add Location to the Branch Unit layout), so Branch Unit is the child and Location is the parent. That surfaces Location ON the Branch Unit - it does not create a reverse 'Branch Units' related list on the standard Location page, which is why it is missing from the dropdown.
FSC's out-of-the-box Branch Unit related lists are Branch Unit Business Members, Branch Unit Related Records, and Branch Unit Customers - there is no standard 'Branch Units on a Location' one.
To see all Branch Units at a Location, cleanest options:
1. A report - Branch Units grouped/filtered by their Location field. No config, and it is exactly this view.
2. If you specifically want it as a related list on the Location record, add your own custom Lookup from Branch Unit to Location and put that related list on the Location layout - it will then appear in the dropdown. Just note it is separate from the standard Location field.
So nothing is broken - the standard model just relates them the other way, and a report is usually the fastest path.
