Hello everyone,
I am trying to integrate an external system using OAuth 2.0
from Postman.
However, I am facing the following issues in my
Developer Edition org (created from developer.salesforce.com
):
What I have done:
- Created a Connected App
- Enabled OAuth Settings
- Added Callback URL
- Enabled all required OAuth scopes
- Used Postman to call: https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/token
- Added: grant_type=password, username, password+securityToken, client_id, client_secret Issue: When I check Setup → Login History, the failure reason says: “Username-Password Flow Disabled”
- But inside my Connected App → OAuth settings, I cannot find the option:
- I also don’t see any option related to OAuth username-password flow or Secure OAuth Client Authentication.

Hey @Omkar Alawani
,
OAuth Username–Password Flow is not enabled in your org. Please follow the steps below to enable it:
- Go to Setup and search for OAuth and OpenID Connect Settings.
- Turn on the toggle for Allow OAuth Username–Password Flows.
