What exactly is it? Is it just rebranding of MCE or really a new tool built on Core platform? I keep hearing same answer from everyone that is an umbrella term used by SF for wider suit which sounds more like a gimmick. I am looking for a real , to the point answer

Future of marketing would be on Core..
Better to upskill on Data Cloud, Salesforce basics, Flow builder - to work seamlessly on Marketing Cloud Next.
If you need advanced capabilities like Marketing Intelligence and Salesforce Persoanlisation -- both are pretty new in the market so need to upgrade our skills accordingly!
